Macro week ahead - all eyes on US and UK GDP? - Hi all! As we gear up for the week ahead I thought I'd take a moment to share some of the macroeconomics data releases I'm keeping my eyes on.

Given the "renewed" concerns over a potential global recession ... See More which sunk markets last week, I think Q1 GDP data from the US (next Thursday) and UK (next Friday) is going to be in the headlights - any miss could cause a big adverse reaction for investors. Euro Zone inflation is also coming out on Friday, expected at 5.7% YoY (headline).

I believe due to these two news we have the stock market will fall on Monday and Tuesday, then recover Wednesday and start climbing again.

Russian oil prices are also down per last week while other countries prices remained steady or went up. Just some info.

Plynk investment not working - This has been pending for more than 24 hours, am i doing somerhing wrong? Just trying to invest the 10 bucks and let it sit for a while but its not going through for anything. Anyone else have this issue on plynk?

Should i learn stocks at 16? - should i learn stocks at 16?

hi guys, im currently 16 (live in the uk) and want to get rich. i will try most pretty much anything but i think this is the best option. i know that it can take a few years ... See More to learn stocks but i feel like it could be worth it and benefit me a lot. i recently finished my gcses and plan on going to college but i feel right now it is a good opportunity to start learning stocks.

i know you need a lot of money in most cases to learn stocks but i have an older brother whos down to fund if i can learn and actually make money. ill also start working at some point to make money which i will be able to save and invest with. im quite smart for my age and i know it seems big headed to say that but i say it because i feel that it will help in learning the stocks and i aint no average kid who says they're gonna be a business man with no plans.

so i was just wondering if anyone here could give me their thoughts/opinion on weather or not i should start investing or if they have any ideas i could get rich otherwise.

if you do think i should is there any insight/tips to help me start like pointing me on where to go to start that would be much appreciated.
