The company has reported elevated lithium readings from the portable LIBS (Laser-Induced Breakdown Spectroscopy) analyzer, highlighting the presence of this valuable mineral within the Hawker and Gauntlet pegmatites at the property. LIBS Analyzer Reveals Encouraging Lithium Content

The James Bay field exploration team conducted tests using the SciAps LIBS Z-903 device, focusing on a green mineral identified in outcrop and rock/channel samples from various locations within the Hawker and Gauntlet pegmatites. The portable LIBS analyzer provided spot analysis, specifically targeting the green mineral within the pegmatite. The results showed significantly anomalous lithium content, indicating the presence of a potentially valuable lithium mineralization.

Association of Prominent Green Mineral with Lithium

Analysis of the samples using the LIBS Z-903 device revealed the presence of a prominent green mineral associated with the elevated lithium readings. While the organic coverage of moss and lichen poses challenges to visually identifying mineralization at the surface accurately, initial observations suggest the green mineral comprises approximately 2-10% of the rock composition within the pegmatite.

James Bay Minerals' La Grande Project, encompassing the Aero Property, holds significant strategic value. Situated in the Eeyou Istchee-James Bay district in Quebec, Canada, the project is located along trend from notable lithium projects such as Winsome Resources' Cancet Lithium Project and Patriot Battery Metals' world-class CV5 deposit. This favorable location increases the potential for James Bay Minerals to tap into the rich lithium resources in the region.
