TG Metals Limited (ASX:TG6) has reported promising results from its exploration drilling activities at the Lake Johnston Li-Ni-Au Project. The focus of the drilling was on the Burmeister lithium soil anomaly within the project, and the initial findings are highly encouraging.

During the drilling process, spodumene-bearing pegmatite was intercepted, revealing high grades of up to 2. 28% Li2O. This is a significant discovery, indicating the presence of valuable lithium mineralization at Lake Johnston.

In more detail, the drilling results include:

9 meters at 1. 35% Li2O from a depth of 30 meters, with notable concentrations of 2.

03% Li2O from 32 meters and 2. 21% Li2O from 37 meters.

9 meters at 1. 62% Li2O from a depth of 87 meters, including 2. 28% Li2O from 87 meters.

TG Metals CEO, Mr. David Selfe, expressed his satisfaction with the initial drilling results, especially considering that only a small portion of the soil anomaly has been tested so far. Mr. Selfe also highlighted the presence of multiple pegmatites, which consistently exhibit widths ranging from 8 to 12 meters. These pegmatites are rich in spodumene, a mineral known for its high lithium content.

The Burmeister lithium soil anomaly is extensive, covering an area measuring 4. 5 kilometers by 1. 7 kilometers. The drilling was conducted on two lines spaced 200 meters apart, which provides valuable data on the mineralization potential within the anomaly.

Moving forward, TG Metals plans to commence the next phase of drilling to explore the lateral and depth potential of the lithium pegmatite system at Lake Johnston. This additional drilling campaign is expected to provide further insights into the size and quality of the lithium deposits within the project.

The company is optimistic about the future prospects of the Burmeister lithium soil anomaly. With the impressive initial results and the vast unexplored portions of the anomaly, TG Metals believes there is significant potential for further high-grade lithium mineralization. As a result, the company is eager to continue its exploration efforts and unlock the full value of this exciting lithium resource.

In conclusion, the recent drilling activities conducted by TG Metals at Lake Johnston have yielded high-grade lithium intercepts. The presence of spodumene-bearing pegmatite and the consistent widths of the mineralized zones are promising indicators of a valuable lithium deposit. With plans for further drilling, TG Metals aims to explore the full potential of the Burmeister lithium soil anomaly and capitalize on the growing demand for lithium in various industries.
