Walkabout Resources announces yet another major milestone - 1 million accident-free hours, achieved during the construction of the Lindi Jumbo Graphite Mine in Tanzania. The development of Lindi Jumbo is on track, as the mine’s construction reaches 99% completion and scheduled to commence its dry commission in the fourth quarter of this year.

The construction teams in Tanzania continue to deliver impeccable safety standards whilst maintaining progress on

the site ensuring they deliver on schedule. The progress and dedication of contractors and stakeholders demonstrate their commitment to developing the Lindi Jumbo Graphite Mine.

Shipment of the necessary equipment continues to arrive in Tanzania. Walkabout Resources is using High-density

Polyethylene (HDPE) liners for construction. The Tailings Storage Facility (TSF) construction is virtually complete, making up 99% of the project, followed by the completion of the planned essential plant civil works-100%.

The structure of the Concentrator building is 85% complete while the Drying and Screening building stands at 70% completion. Energy supply is not a worry as the Tanzanian power line is in use with the provision of TSF o water from the neighbouring pond.

Most recently, the Walkabout Board of Directors visited the site to observe the progress, interact with local stakeholders, and address their concerns. An overwhelmingly positive experience was had during community meetings, and with the anticipated market changes, the timing could not have been better.

Following China's tightening export restrictions, Walkabout’s Director highlighted that Lindi Jumbo is ready, positioned to provide the assurance demanded in this market, entering new markets, and benefiting from the positive price change.

In conclusion, Lindi Jumbo is poised to become the largest producer of large flake graphite for the expandable graphite market outside China. The mine is guaranteed to provide a stable supply of critical raw materials during a time when it's increasingly uncertain for other regions. The mine's development presents a huge window of opportunities for Tanzania and Walkabout Resources as they hope to exceed their goals and turn their vision into a reality.

Looks like we're going through something, but who would have thought with all these tarrifs, inflation and trade wars going on
