Nasdaq fluctuations - Hi all. I was watching Bloomberg the other night and I noticed that in the after hours wi Nasdaq index goes up over 15,000 and then in the morning it goes back down to the 13,000s. This happens every night in the after hours session.
Then I noticed that the same thing happens on yahoo finance. I’m sure it happens elsewhere as well.
Does anyone have any idea what this is about? Obviously it doesn’t represent a true spike in the Nasdaq. I’ve attached a pic of what I’m referencing. Hoping someone here has an idea why this happens.
It’s crazy but even my broker friends and financial advisors have no clue why this happens and if it’s an error of some sort, why it hasn’t been fixed.
Thanks!Stockmarket
