Odessa Minerals Limited Discovers Excellent Lithium Drill Targets at Lockier Range
Perth, Western Australia - Odessa Minerals Limited (ASX:ODE) has announced the discovery of four compelling drill targets with high lithium concentrations at its Lockier Range project in Western Australia. The results were obtained from a systematic soil sampling program and multi-element analysis. These targets have the potential to significantly enhance the prospectivity of the Lockier Range project.
The two primary lithium drill targets identified are Robinson Bore and Eastern Pegmatite. The Robinson Bore target, spanning approximately 4km by 2km, exhibits high lithium concentrations in the soils along with pegmatite pathfinder elements. It is located in close proximity to the Cairn Hill historic pegmatite workings and the Thirty-Three Supersuite granitoids contact. The Eastern Pegmatite target covers an area of approximately 2km by 1km and also shows high lithium concentrations in the soils, accompanied by potassium radiometric anomalies.

It is situated directly on the margin of the Thirty-Three Supersuite granitoids.
Additionally, Odessa has identified two other areas that require further investigation. The Southern Pegmatite Field, spanning approximately 3km by 2km, displays anomalous pegmatite pathfinder elements and is host to numerous mapped pegmatites. Previous rock sampling in this area has shown lithium concentrations up to 207ppm Li2O. The Mt Yaragner Pegmatite, proximal to the mica pegmatite, exhibits anomalous pegmatite pathfinder elements as well.
The Lockier Range project, covering a substantial area of 125km2, is part of Odessa's Gascoyne tenement package. It is strategically located near recent lithium/pegmatite discoveries made by companies such as Delta Lithium, Reach Resources, and Voltaic Strategic Resources. Furthermore, the project is situated in a region known for significant rare earth element carbonatite discoveries by companies like Hastings Technologies, Dreadnought Resources, and Kingfisher Mining.
David Lenigas, Executive Director of Odessa Minerals Limited, expressed his excitement about the lithium soil results and their potential impact on the Lockier Range project. He emphasized the significance of the Robinson Bore and Eastern Pegmatite target areas, which show strong lithium and pegmatite pathfinder element concentrations near the Thirty-Three Supersuite granitoid. Odessa plans to further analyse the multi-element analysis results to assess the rare earth element targets on the Lockier Range project.
The Lockier Range project, consisting of a single 125km2 Exploration License (E09/2649), has previously shown high levels of lithium pegmatites and rare earth element indicator elements through historic stream sediment sampling.
