[US] Just received 16 letters from the IRS addressed to 16 different people with my address. Any advice besides marking "not at this address"? - In the spring I received about 5 letters addressed to different individuals, and after a quick call to the IRS, they simply said to send them back. Now we're up to 16 letters. Just keep marking them "not at this address" and send them back, or is there anything else to be done? Does this mean anything for my own taxes? Thanks in advance.
Edit: Thanks everyone, got a lot of options from the simple to the complex.
Edit 2: My credit reports and ssa records look fine. Already using the identity protection pin with the IRS for filing. I'll call the local IRS office tomorrow. Thanks again!Personal Finance
