Voltaic Strategic Resources Discovers Significant Pegmatites at Andrada Prospect
Voltaic Strategic Resources Ltd (ASX: VSR), a mining company specialising in lithium, rare earth elements, and other battery metals, has made a significant discovery at its flagship Ti Tree project in Western Australia. The company announced on June 28th that it had intercepted multiple wide pegmatites at the Andrada prospect, further enhancing the project's potential.
The Andrada prospect, one of the key prospects within the Ti Tree project, is known to host two lithium-caesium-tantalum (LCT) trends associated with pegmatite intrusions. Voltaic has completed 31 drill holes, spanning over 2000 meters, uncovering a total of 34 individual pegmatite intercepts spanning 547 meters. The drilling was conducted at regular intervals of approximately 300 meters, covering a combined strike length of 2. 6 kilometers.
Some notable results from the drilling campaign include a 69-meter-wide pegmatite, intercepted from 21 meters to the end of the hole (89 meters), a 58-meter-wide pegmatite intercepted from the surface to the end of the hole (58 meters), a 40-meter-wide pegmatite intercepted from the surface to the end of the hole (40 meters), and a 36-meter-wide pegmatite intercepted from the surface to the end of the hole (36 meters).

Michael Walshe, CEO and Managing Director of Voltaic Strategic Resources, expressed his excitement about the growing prospectivity of the Ti Tree project. He highlighted the importance of thick pegmatites repeating in a stacked sequence at depth, as this is crucial for building tonnage. Walshe also remarked that the company had only scratched the surface of the project's vast potential, with more than 400 mapped pegmatites identified so far.
Voltaic expects to receive assay results from the drilling program in the next one to two weeks, with a second batch of results anticipated in approximately six weeks. In addition, the company has identified 18 priority target areas across its project area and plans to expand this further with airborne geophysics and photogrammetry surveys in the coming weeks. Extensive drill programs across the north and south tenements are also in the planning phase.
