Australian exploration company, WA1 Resources Ltd, delivers outstanding assay results from the West Arunta Project in Western Australia

WA1 Resources Ltd (ASX: WA1), an Australian exploration company with a focus on critical metals such as niobium, rare earth elements, and tantalum, has announced its latest assay results from the Luni carbonate at the West Arunta Project. The results reveal exceptional high-grade niobium intersections, which extend the mineralisation at Luni by approximately 550 metres along strike and down dip.

Outstanding High-Grades Assay Results

WA1 Resources completed 30 drill holes at the Luni carbonate, a rare type of igneous rock enriched in critical metals. The results include drilling highlights of 13 metres at 5. 0% Nb2O5 (niobium oxide) within an overall interval of 31 metres at 3. 5% Nb2O5 and 10 metres at 4. 0% Nb2O5 within an overall interval of 24 metres at 2.

1% Nb2O5. The outstanding grades in these intersections are indicative of the Luni carbonate's substantial potential for hosting significant quantities of niobium.

Extending Mineralisation and Confirming Potential

The assay results confirm and extend the niobium mineralisation at Luni and highlight the potential for large-scale niobium deposit, rare earth elements, tantalum, and scandium. The mineralisation is an excellent demonstration of the West Arunta Project's vast exploration potential. With such exceptional exploration results, WA1 Resources is quickly proving to be a significant player in the exploration and production of critical metals.

Future Exploration Strategies

WA1 Resources intends to define the full extent and grade of the mineralisation discovered at Luni through continued drilling. Moreover, the company plans to test other targets within the West Arunta Project, such as the Lennard Shelf carbonate and the Mt Webb carbonate. By exploring these areas, the company aims to unlock the full potential of the project and capitalise on the growing demand for critical metals worldwide.
