Broad Mineralization Observed
Numerous additional intervals over 100m of visible spodumene mineralization have been observed in AP0011, with assay results pending. Drill holes like ANDD0309, ANDD0386, and others have intersected substantial widths of spodumene mineralization, further highlighting the project's extensive lithium potential.
Drilling Program Highlights
Azure has completed extensive drilling activities, including 192 diamond core holes, 97 RC holes, and 27 holes comprising RC pre-collars and diamond tails, totaling over 89,000 meters. The results received so far and others expected in the coming months will contribute to a Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE) expected in Q2 2024.
Geological Significance
The Andover pegmatite swarm, extending over a 9km east-west area and up to 5km north-south, comprises numerous pegmatites with high lithium grades. The recent drilling results confirm the consistent and high-grade lithium mineralization across the Andover Project.
Future Exploration Plans
Following the Christmas and New Year break, drilling will resume in early January 2024 with eight diamond rigs on site. This continued exploration will further delineate the lithium resource at Andover.
