What is it about crypto that evokes such strong emotions in people? - I was browsing around, reading different articles about crypto as usual. Scrolling through the comments, I was a bit shocked to still see a lot of anti-crypto remarks. It seems that even after being associated with big names, we still can't shake off the initial idea that a lot of people had. People still see crypto as some kind of imaginary thing or something related to scams, and even the ones trying to provide some reasoning for their criticism always go back to the narrative that crypto isn't backed by anything. Not to mention different subreddits purely focused on bashing everything crypto-related, it seems that a lot of these people are actually hoping others to lose their investments or to become a victim of some kind of scam. What's wrong with these people? Are they that bitter? Since I'm struggling to understand what kind of pleasure these people are getting from others' misfortune, I ask you guys: Why does the concept of crypto enflame such responses from these people? I understand skepticism, but where does all of this negativity come from? Cryptocurrency

Looks like we're going through something, but who would have thought with all these tarrifs, inflation and trade wars going on
