Carnaby Resources Limited (ASX: CNB), a mining company based in Western Australia, has recently made an exciting announcement regarding their Greater Duchess Copper Gold Project in Mt Isa, Queensland. Impressive Assay Results

At the Mount Hope Central Prospect, Carnaby Resources has discovered a promising deposit with noteworthy mineralization. Assay results from MHDD176 show a significant find, with a boomerang-shaped lode revealing 116 meters of copper at a concentration of 2. 1% and gold at 0. 3 grams per tonne. Additionally, MHDD133W3 and MHRC133W2 assays have showcased promising mineralization as well, with the Chalcus deposit displaying 54 meters and 50 meters of copper at 2. 4% and 2. 0% concentrations respectively, along with significant gold.

The Mount Hope Gap Prospect has also revealed outcropping copper and gold mineralization. The source of an apparent internal power (IP) anomaly has yet to be identified, but further investigation, including downhole electromagnetic surveys, will be conducted.

Furthermore, the Lady Fanny Prospect has provided positive results. The high-grade northern plunge extension of Lady Fanny remains open for exploration. Recent drilling has intersected 23 meters of copper at 3. 3% concentration and 0. 2 grams per tonne of gold. In this section, there is a particularly impressive find of 13 meters of copper at 5. 3% concentration and 0. 3 grams per tonne of gold. Another notable result from this area is a discovery of 4 meters of copper at 6. 9% concentration and an impressive 3. 0 grams per tonne of gold.

Optimistic Outlook and Next Steps

Rob Watkins, the Managing Director of Carnaby Resources, expressed his optimism about the ongoing exploration at the Greater Duchess project. As they approach the interim Maiden Mineral Resource Estimate milestone, Watkins highlights the growth potential represented by the recent assay results. He specifically notes the significant mineralization discovered at the Boomerang Lode, which extends deep into the ground and presents an exciting opportunity for further exploration.

The Gap target is another area where the company remains hopeful. Despite not yet being able to explain the IP anomaly found in initial drilling, promising surface mineralization with high copper and gold concentrations has been observed, further emphasizing the potential for future discoveries.
