Unveiling the Exploration Frontier: Woomera's Auger Sampling Initiative

Woomera Mining Limited (ASX: WML), in a bold stride towards lithium exploration, has initiated an auger sampling program aimed at unearthing buried LCT pegmatites within the confines of the Mt Short JV Project.

This ambitious endeavor encompasses the Ravensthorpe Li Projects, integrating the Mt Short JV and the 100%-owned Mt Cattlin tenement, strategically situated in lithium-prospective stratigraphy north of Allkem’s Mt Cattlin Li Mine, marking a significant region of lithium prospects (refer to Figure 1).

Auger Sampling Unveils Lithium Potential

The commencement of the auger sampling initiative is a meticulously designed strategy aiming to delve into shallow covered greenstone sequences. The sampling will be conducted over a grid of approximately 400 x 50 meters, totaling approximately 1400 samples, with the primary goal of uncovering potential pegmatite-hosted lithium deposits.
